The production company, One of Nine was started in August 2019 by Matthias and Katie following the successful, enjoyable partnership making their first short, LA MUSE. Matthias has multiple scripts already written including a feature version of ONE FOR THE TEAM which he will write and direct. Katie will produce any projects made under One of Nine.

The name stemmed from the story of LA MUSE. In Greek mythology there are nine muses – everyone needs a muse as the source of their creative inspiration, much like Miguel – the character in the film.

One of Nine will support projects from outside sources too, whether it be production, writing or directing, we’ll get behind a story we think has meaning, depth, complex characters and is of course entertaining.
